Both are employed to make the ADJECTIVES or
ADVERBS stronger:

SUCH We use SUCH before NOUNS (These nouns can be
previously modified with adjectives and if the noun is singular we must add A
or AN):

*We can use SO... THAT... or SUCH...
THAT... to express CAUSE and EFFECT. (THAT can be omitted in these sentences):
