MY EXPERIENCE IN
FINLAND (153)
Last year, I
went on a high school exchange to Finland. I was really excited because I had
never travelled abroad before. I had been looking forward to that moment for
months and finally, the day came.
First, we
travelled by plane to Helsinki and there we took a bus to Jyvaskyla, where we
stayed. During this week, we made new activities such as skiing or
snowboarding. It was the first time I saw snow so I was pretty amazed because
of the spectacular landscapes.
Luckily, my
host family was lovely. One night, they took me to an ice lake and we made a
fire to cook sausages. I showed them things about Seville and traditional
Spanish music.
I must end
by saying that it was one of the best experiences that I have ever had so, I
would recommend everyone to do an exchange to a different country once in his
life.
